Our Indian Runner Duck eggs are generally fertile, so at this point we haven't explored the edible egg trade. However duck eggs are a favourite for baking. Duck eggs make baked items fluffier than chicken eggs, because they have a higher percentage of egg yolk, and therefore a higher fat content.
Indian Runner Ducks lay more eggs per year than any other breed of domestic duck.
